Kee-oo-wah Cottage

Kee-oo-wah Cottage is a small, cozy beachfront cottage on a sandy beach on Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire Lake Sunapee is on of the cleanest lakes in the USA. Our beach is inter connected with six other cottages, though each beach frontage is considered autonomous. The beach is clean and goes out gradually. There is a raft shared with our neighbors. We offer a canoe, a rowboat, 2 kayaks for renter's use. There is a charcoal grill, and a fire pit (for campfires and s'mores), beach chairs, tables, umbrellas and several lounge chairs. There are front and back unscreened porches. The beach side porch faces west for enjoying beautiful sunsets.

Though we have no power crafts, there are motorboats and jet skis nearby for rental. There are a few beach toys. Ten minutes away are a fine supermarket, farmer's markets and five minutes away are restaurants and convenience stores. Band concerts, fairs and crafters are nearby. Hanover and Lebanon are 30 minutes away - offering movies, BIG shopping malls, museums, live entertainment, etc. There is a wonderful children's center (science and outdoor water play) in Norwich, VT (Montshire museum) Mt. Sunapee is nearby for hiking. Golf and tennis are 10 minutes away as are libraries, fine dining and a terrific summer theater (The Barn Playhouse) in New London. The Hay Estate gardens are around the corner.
